• Location Data (GPS): We collect real-time and background location information from your device to provide fleet tracking, route monitoring, and location-based features essential to the App's core functionality.

• Device and File Data: We may access device information (such as device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers) and, where relevant to app functionality, files or photos you choose to upload (e.g., vehicle inspection images, documents).
• Push Notification Data: We use Firebase Cloud Messaging to send you notifications related to fleet activity, alerts, and updates. This requires a device token used solely to deliver notifications to your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain fleet tracking and management features
• To send you important notifications, alerts, and updates about your fleet
• To improve, personalize, and expand the App's functionality
• To communicate with you, including for customer support
• To ensure the security and integrity of our services

3. Location Data

FleetScaler 360 requires access to location data (including background location, where applicable) to perform its core function of tracking and managing fleet vehicles or personnel in real time. Location data may be collected even when the app is running in the background, depending on your device permissions and settings. You can disable location access at any time through your device settings, though this may limit or disable core App functionality.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers who help us operate the App (e.g., Firebase/Google Cloud for hosting, push notifications, and analytics infrastructure)
• Your employer or fleet administrator, if the App is used in an organizational/enterprise context
• Law enforcement or regulatory authorities, if required by law

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

FleetScaler 360 is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Third-Party Services

Our App uses Firebase (a Google service) for push notifications. Firebase may collect certain data as governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
